Program Advisor is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. Our goal is to provide a safe, secure forum that allows users to locate educational opportunities in their field of interest, request additional information from those schools, and to search for scholarships. This Privacy Statement sets forth the online data collection and usage policies and practices that apply to the Program Advisor website. It does not apply to information we collect in any other fashion.

Your Use of the Program Advisor Sites

Access to and use of any of the Program Advisor site is available only to United States residents who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. If you do not qualify, you may not use our Web site. If you are a minor, you may use the Program Advisor site only in conjunction with your parent, legal guardian, or other responsible adult supervision. We urge supervising adults to actively oversee minors’ online use. Information We Collect About All Program Advisor Visitors

During your visit to Program Advisor, we may also ask you for other information, such as information on your interests, your likes and dislikes regarding the site, the types of schools you are interested in, etc., in an effort to deliver to you the best possible site experience. Providing this information is optional.

How Information Is Used

We use the information we gather on the web site for the purposes of providing our services, responding to any queries you may have, operating and improving the web site, and fostering a positive user experience. Our services include providing users with an opportunity to request additional information from educational institutions that are advertised on the Program Advisor site and providing users with the ability to search our scholarship database.

We use the behavioral information we collect from each user to understand how our site is used. This information helps us determine what is most beneficial for our users, and how we can continually create a better overall experience for you. We may share this aggregated anonymous information with our partners so that they too may understand how Program Advisor visitors use our site.

We use the personal information you provide on the scholarship search portion of the site to match you with scholarships that we believe are relevant to you.

We also use your personal information to allow you to request additional information from schools or universities of your choice on the site. If you choose to provide us with personal information, we will send that it to the organization you have chosen so that they may fulfill your request. Please note that when you submit your information to one of these partner schools or universities, your information becomes the property of both Program Advisor and the partner school. In that instance, the use of your personal information by our partner school will be subject to the privacy policy of that particular school.

ProgramAdvisor may use the contact information you provide to periodically send you e-mail regarding updates at the ProgramAdvisor site, such as new opportunities and additional listings which may be of interest to you. The frequency of these messages will vary depending upon the types of scholarships and other activities you have indicated an interest in. In addition, we may send you free informational newsletters or notices relating to topics which may be of special interest to you, including financial aid, admissions tips, job opportunities and job advice. We may also send you newsletters from Monster communities that we think you may be interested in based on the information you provide to us. Finally, if you specifically provide ProgramAdvisor with permission, you may also receive commercial e-mails. Out of respect for the privacy of our users, we present the option to opt-out of receiving newsletters and/or commercial e-mails whenever such messages are sent by ProgramAdvisor.

Disclosure of Your Information

In addition to providing your personal information to schools upon your request, we also disclose your personal and behavioral information to third parties as set forth below.

During your scholarship search and at other places on the site in connection with specific offers, Program Advisor may ask you whether information about you may be sent to third parties who have products, services, and opportunities which may be useful to you. If you give your permission to allow third parties to contact you, personal information about you (such as your contact information and other information collected during your visit to Program Advisor) may be shared with colleges, universities, potential employers, recruiters/headhunters, data aggregators, marketers, and other organizations.

We may enter into strategic marketing alliances with third parties such as strategic partners and subsidiaries, who may be given access to personal information, including your name, address, and email, for the purpose of providing you with information about products and services that may be of interest to you. We do not, however, make any representations about the practices and policies of these companies.

In addition, in the event Program Advisor becomes the subject of an insolvency proceeding, whether voluntary or involuntary, Program Advisor or its liquidator, administrator, receiver or administrative receiver may sell, license or otherwise dispose of such information in a transaction approved by the court. Children

Program Advisor is not intended for, nor do we knowingly collect information from, children under the age of 13.

The Program Advisor site contains links to other web sites over which we have no control. ProgramAdvisor uses technical and organizational security measures to help protect against the loss, misuse and/or unauthorized access to or alteration of the information under our control.

ProgramAdvisor helps protect personally identifiable information by utilizing both online and offline security methods, including firewalls, passwords and restricted physical access to the places where your information is stored. Our staff is trained to comply with our security procedures, and our security procedures are regularly reviewed and revised, if necessary, by the Privacy Team at ProgramAdvisor.
