North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association Undergraduate Criminal Justice Scholarship
Amount: $2,000
Applicant must be a North Carolina resident. Priority given first to children of a sheriff or deputy sheriff, then to children of any law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty, then to children of any sheriff or deputy sheriff who is deceased or retired, and then to criminal justice majors with high GPAs and financial need. Applicant must submit letter of recommendation from sheriff in his or her county of residence, transcript, and documentation of criteria.

Texas Police Corps Scholarship
Amount: $7,500
40 scholarships available to high school seniors who agree to work after college graduation for a law enforcement agency for four years. Program open to Texas residents to attend a four-year university in any major.

Jeffrey D. Rubenstein Scholarship
Amount: $3,000
Partial scholarships to the Jeffrey D. Rubenstein College of Criminal Justice at Andrew Jackson University may be available. To qualify for a scholarship, an individual must meet all of the following requirements: Applicant must be a current or retired employee of a law enforcement, corrections or other public safety agency. Applicant must write a one page essay explaining how a degree (or specific courses) will affect the applicant’s performance while benefiting his or her department, including their career path. Applicant must complete a phone interview with Jeff Rubenstein or his designee.
